Meet Cynthia Irvin, our 5-star culinary chef at Sandy’s 1. Growing up in a family of “foodies”, Cynthia has always had a passion for food. Cynthia studied at the culinary institute and Epicurean fine cooking school. After graduating, she co-owned a successful restaurant in Los Angeles. When her restaurant sold, Cynthia took a break from working to get married and have children. Cynthia always knew in her heart that if the right opportunity to cook professionally again presented itself, she would do it.
Being in recovery herself, Cynthia understands the strong correlation between getting sober and getting healthy. Thus, Cynthia has dedicated a lot of time and effort toward studying different type of foods to figure out what types of foods make us feel good and keep us healthy. Cynthia says fresh California cuisine is her specialty.
